# Gentoo verlaat Github voor Duitse Codeberg vanwege Copilot

Gentoo’s desire to move away from GitHub was motivated by Microsoft’s Copilot training on GitHub repositories. Those plans are turning into action now with the main Gentoo project up on Codeberg and honoring pull requests.

Codeberg lijkt een populaire keuze te zijn voor de code van FOSS projecten te hosten. 👍

Maakt gebruik van [Forgejo](https://forgejo.org). Draai ik ook in mijn homelab voor git repos te hosten. 😉

Eigenlijk een platform zoals GitHub. 🙂

Een web interface rond alles wat met git te maken heeft en alle bijhorende features zoals merge requests, project management tools, issues, actions.
