The Gentoo Linux project last year announced plans to move their code hosting to Codeberg rather than GitHub. Gentoo’s desire to move away from GitHub was motivated by Microsoft’s Copilot training on GitHub repositories. Those plans are turning into action now with the main Gentoo project up on Codeberg and honoring pull requests.

Codeberg lijkt een populaire keuze te zijn voor de code van FOSS projecten te hosten. 
Maakt gebruik van Forgejo. Draai ik ook in mijn homelab voor git repos te hosten. 
En wat is Forgejo? Voor de less technical nerds here?
Eigenlijk een platform zoals GitHub. 
Een web interface rond alles wat met git te maken heeft en alle bijhorende features zoals merge requests, project management tools, issues, actions.
